A Lost Blog
I remember a while back that I was going to write about the vuvuzela but I completely forgot about it. You know, those really long horns that make perhaps the most annoying sound on the planet and single handedly ruining this year's world cup in South Africa. I decided to go on Youtube and see if I can find a video worthy of posting on my blog. Well I found a worthy one, the following video is a parody of Downfall so enjoy.

It was a bit weird seeing Hitler as a funny character, but if you ignore who he is, the video is quite interesting, and the subtitles match what’s happening in the movie perfectly. =] p.s. that’s exactly how I felt during the World Cup, too. I also don’t get it why something that was invented by capitalists in order to exploit the World Cup suddenly acquired a cultural value.
ReplyDeleteAwesome video! i completely agree with Fernanda's question about capitalism being transformed into cultural values. I am not sure how this came about either but would love an explanation.
